Birmingham’s Bereavement Pathway

You are not alone. We are here to support you.

The death of someone close can be one of the hardest things we have to deal with.
There is no normal or ‘right’ way to grieve.  How you react will depend on many things – who died and how, age and experience, personality and culture or religion.

Cruse Bereavement Support Birmingham is the central provider in the Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group’s Bereavement Pathway.

Our team staff a local helpline that provides initial and ongoing support to grieving residents.

We also work closely with other partners in the pathway to signpost residents (Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service, Marie Curie Hospice West Midlands, Edwards Trust and Beyond the Horizon). This ensures that all enquirers get routed to the right service provider at the right time.

Cruse Bereavement Support Birmingham is proud to provide high quality in-house training for bereavement volunteers, professionals, and organisations in our community.
