About us

Cruse Bereavement Care Birmingham, provides free bereavement support to anyone living in the Birmingham area.

Cruse is the central provider in the Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group Bereavement Community Pathway. Our team staff a local helpline that operates 7 days per week and provides initial and ongoing support to grieving residents. We also work closely with other partners in the pathway to signpost residents (Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service, Marie Curie Hospice West Midlands, Edwards Trust and Beyond the Horizon). This ensures that all enquirers get routed to the right service provider at the right time.

Our aim is to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone suffering the after effects of a death to understand their grief and cope with their loss.

Cruse Birmingham is proud to provide high quality in-house training for bereavement volunteers, professionals and organisations in our community.
