Volunteer Bereavement Support Worker

We need people who are passionate and care about the needs of people by supporting them through their grief.  No previous experience is required as you  will be given full training and the support that is required.  A commitment to the work of Cruse is crucial, volunteers are required  for a minimum of 3 hours a week. 

Volunteer Telephone Bereavement Support Worker

We are looking for someone who shares our aim  to support bereaved people by receiving and making crucial  telephone contact with our clients. If you  have previous  experience of supporting people either face to face , telephone or by email this would be an advantage.  You will  also receive training in bereavement awareness as well as other relevant training to improve your skills. 

Volunteer Administrative  and Data Entry Assistant

We are seeking volunteers who are willing to assist with the running of the busy office, general admin and data entry. The role would suit someone who has spare time and would like to offer their skills, experience and enthusiasm of office work to benefit a charity. Must be competent using Microsoft applications and have awareness of GDPR.

Volunteer Fundraising Assistant 

If you have experience of fundraising and bid writing and would like to help Cruse Birmingham then we would like to have you on board. You will work closely with marketing to promote events that will raise much needed money for Cruse. We need someone with a few hours to spare to get involved with events occurring within the community to raise awareness and generate income. Working hours can be as flexible as necessary
